| Crude Oil Settles below $68 |
Crude Oil prices fell to a two weeks low on Friday after a report showed that U.S. consumer confidence unexpectedly declined in August.Crude Oil dropped 4.3 percent while dollar gained against euro,stronger dollar made dollar priced oil more expensive.Crude oil futuures for September delivery was down $3.01 to $67.51 a barrel on the New York mercantile Exchange,lowest since July 30.Oil prices have fallen 4.8 percent this week.London Brent crude was down $1.07 to settle at $72.41.September gasoline futures were down 3.99 cents at $1.9793 a gallon, while heating oil was 3.61 cents at $1.8667 a gallon.Earlier in the week,Energy Information Administration report showed crude oil inventories increased by 2.5 million barrels from the previous week.
