Dollar,Euro Falls Vs Yen On Disappointing Data

Dollar and Euro were both down against Japanese yen on Friday after dissappointing U.S. consumer sentiment data,increasing concerns about U.S. economy outlook.Dollar was down to 0.49 percent to 94.89 yen from 95.36 yen on Thursday.Yen is considered as a relative safe-haven asset.The dollar index against a basket of six major currencies, was at 78.259.Dollar gained higher against the euro on Friday mainly due to profit taking.Recent high of $1.4448 is likely remain as resistance.U.S. stocks decline sharply after the data, helping the dollar.Euro was also down 0.15 percent against yen to around 134.6 yen.
