Today Markets opened on a flat note but later slipped into red to a low of 8701 and now is trading in green with 1.18 percent up 103.22 points to 8,859.00.Most of the Asian Markets are trading higher with Nikkei Stock Average gained 1.78 percent up 134.87 points to 7704.15 and Hang Seng Index gained 3.04 percent up 380.33 points to 12,906.10.

Some buying intrest and short covering is seen in Banking stocks,Auto and Consumer Durables shares.Power,IT shares have seen some profit booking.Mahindra and Mahindra shares rose 8.57 percent up 29.55 points to 374.35.Jaiprakash Associates gained 6.77 percent up 4.80 points to 75.70.
In Banking Stocks,State Bank of India have seen some buying intrest with 3.72 percent higher up 35.45 points to 988.50.From Oil & Gas,GAIL has gained 4.16 percent.Auto stocks have also ssen some buying with Tata Motors gaining 3.87 percent.

Market breadth is positive as 1231 stocks are advancing while 867 stocks are declining and the 93 stocks remain unchanged on BSE.There might be some profit booking in late trade as markets have turned volatile.
