Today,Indian Markets closed on positive note.Indian market opened higher but gave up its gains soon after start and slipped in to red as profit booking emerged at higher levels.Sensex was up 1.99 percent up 193.49 points to close at 9,901.99.NSE closed the day 1.29 percent higher, to settle at 3,060.35.Market breadth remained strong 823 stocks closed in green while 558 stocks closed in red and 82 stocks remained unchanged in BSE.BSE Midcap closed up 1.88 percent up 55.57 points to 3,011.80 and Small Cap indices gained 2.87 percent up 93.24 points to 3,339.87.

Bse Realty index gained the most and was up 5.41 percent up 84.49 points to 1,645.32.Anant Raj Indust was up 19.15 percent up 7.70 to close at 47.90.Unitech Ltd. was up 7.30 percent up 2.55 to close at 37.50.DLF Ltd. was up 5.68 percent up 9.50 to close at 176.70.

Bse IT index gained was up 3.17 percent up 72.45 points to 2,358.13.NIIT Ltd. was up 8.15 percent up 1.65 to close at 21.90.Aptech Ltd. was up 8.82 percent up 7.35 to close at 90.65.Rolta India was up 6.43 percent up 3.70 to close at 61.25.

Bse Bankex index was up 2.48 percent up 111.18 points to 4,602.15.ICICI Bank was up 5.07 percent up 16.85 to close at 349.45.SBI was up 0.69 percent up 7.40 to close at 1,073.95.

Top Gainers were Opto Circuits India up 15.43 percent, Godrej Industries up 12.58 percent,BEML up 11.14 percent, Suzlon Energy up 9.91 percent.Top losers were Bhushan Steel Ltd. down 7.04 percent,Sun Pharma. down 4.26 percent,Siemens Ltd down 3.93 percent,Power Grid down 3.92 percent.

FTSE 100 index closed up 0.75 percent up 29.47 points to 3955.61,Germany's DAX closed up 1.13 percent up 46.31 points to 4131.07,France's CAC 40 closed up 1.15 percent up 32.27 points to 2839.61.
