Indian market rebounded sharply from its initial losses and ended sharply higher for the fifth consecutive session.Indian market opened gap down with nifty down almost 100 points.Sensex closed the day with 1.97 percent higher, up 207.47 points to close at 10,742.34.NSE closed the day above 3300 up 2.58 percent, to settle at 3,342.95.Market breadth remained extremely positive as 2021 stocks closed in green while 468 stocks closed in red and 63 stocks remained unchanged in BSE.BSE Midcap closed up 3.11 percent up 99.51 points to 3,302.59 and Small Cap indices gained 4.47 percent up 158.73 points to 3,705.97.
Bse Realty index gained 4.74 percent up 87.58 points to 1,936.41.Orbit Corporation was up 18.44 percent up 11.25 to close at 72.25.Indiabulls Real Esta was up 12.12 percent up 13.90 to close at 128.55.Unitech Ltd. was up 6.93 percent up 2.55 to close at 39.35.DLF Ltd. was up 1.15 percent up 2.40 to close at 212.00.
Bse FMCG index was up 4.47 percent up 88.99 points to 2,078.37.United Breweries Ltd was up 9.65 percent up 9.65 to close at 109.70.Hindustan Unilever Lever was up 6.06 percent up 13.75 to close at 240.80.ITC Ltd. was up 5.15 percent up 9.30 to close at 189.80.
Bse Oil & Gas index was up 3.24 percent up 251.18 points to 7,998.76.Essar Oil Ltd. was up 8.43 percent up 10.05 to close at 129.20.Reliance Inds. was up 3.10 percent up 51.80 to close at 1,724.05.ONGC was up 2.39 percent up 21.15 to close at 906.90.
Top Gainers were Jet Airways up 24.73 percent, Jai Corp Ltd. up 20.00 percent,Hind. Copper up 19.98 percent, Spice Communications up 17.82 percent.Top losers were Mahi. & Mahi down 6.35 percent,EIH Ltd. down 6.23 percent,Educomp Solutions down 6.04 percent,Chennai Petro. down 5.33 percent.
Asian Markets closed lower on Monday following cues from U.S. markets with Japan's Nikkei 225 Average lost 2.69 percent down 237.84 points at 8595.01.Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index down 3.04 percent down 454.11 points to 14474.86.China down 3.76 percent down 91.79 points to 2347.38.
FTSE 100 index trading lower 0.19 percent down 7.46 points to 3923.06,Germany's DAX trading higher up 0.65 percent up 28.18 points to 4350.68,France's CAC 40 trading higher up 0.6 percent up 17.36 points to 2919.67.
